MANILA, Philippines — The number of suspects killed in the government’s anti-drug war breached the 6,000th mark, recent records from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) showed.
In its report titled, #RealNumbersPH, PDEA said 31 more drug suspects died nationwide from 5,980 killings recorded in November 30, 2020 to 6,011 fatalities documented in December 31, 2020.
Five years since the bloody drug war began, 273,014 suspects were detained in 188,603 anti-narcotics operations of law enforcers in the country.
