Tony Parker headlined NBA House PHL as ArenaPlus joined festivities

NBA LEGEND Tony Parker during the NBA House Philippines 2026.

TONY PARKER spent his career making big plays on the NBA’s biggest stages. Over the weekend, the four-time NBA champion made a stop at the ArenaPlus booth as NBA House Philippines 2026 presented by Gatorade brought the league’s brand of basketball and entertainment to Manila.

Mr. Parker headlined NBA House Philippines at SPACE at One Ayala alongside basketball icons Jason Kidd and Lauren Jackson for the two-day immersive fan experience held on Aug. 29 and 30.

As the NBA’s official betting partner in the Philippines, ArenaPlus conducted various basketball-themed activities during the weekend, giving fans an opportunity to test their basketball skills and knowledge.

One of the highlights was Mr. Parker’s visit to the ArenaPlus booth, where the former San Antonio Spurs star met members of the ArenaPlus team and took on the basketball arcade and shooting challenge.

As part of the programming, ArenaPlus also facilitated an on-court trivia contest, which tested participants’ knowledge of the game throughout the weekend. More than bragging rights were at stake, as the on-court trivia winner for each day received prizes from ArenaPlus.

For Ethan William, head of ArenaPlus, Parker’s visit to the booth added another layer to what was a memorable weekend for Filipino basketball fans.

“ArenaPlus is proud to be part of NBA House Philippines and thrilled to give fans an experience that brings them closer to the game they love,” said Mr. William. “Having a legend like Tony Parker visit our activation makes it even more special. We’re excited to welcome fans, let them enjoy the activities we’ve prepared, and celebrate our partnership with the NBA together.”

Mr. Parker brought an impressive resume to Manila. The French point guard won four NBA championships with the San Antonio Spurs and was named NBA Finals MVP in 2007. He was also inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2023.

Beyond the NBA and WNBA legends, NBA House Philippines featured a wide range of attractions across the two days, including an NBA memorabilia display featuring the Larry O’Brien Trophy, autographed jerseys and basketballs, basketball skills challenges, photo installations, merchandise giveaways, and a game zone featuring NBA 2K27.

Fans also watched regular-season WNBA games between the Washington Mystics and Los Angeles Sparks on Aug. 29 and the Toronto Tempo and Phoenix Mercury on Aug. 30.

For Filipino basketball fans, NBA House Philippines offered a rare opportunity to experience the NBA beyond the screen. Those who visited the ArenaPlus booth also had the chance to share the floor with an NBA legend in a different way.

NBA House Philippines followed previous editions of the immersive fan experience staged in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
