MANILA, Philippines — The scheduled concert of DJ duo The Chainsmokers will not push through in August.
According to concert promoter MMI posted on Facebook page on Tuesday, the duo’s “World War Joy” Asia tour in Manila was canceled due to “unforeseen production circumstances.”
MMI furthered that details on the ticket refund process will be discharged within the week.
“We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding,” the post stated.
The band were set to perform for their Filipino fans on Aug. 15 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The Chainsmokers lineup consists of Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart famous with the millennial crowd in recent years.
The duo is known for their hit songs “Closer,” “Roses,” and “Something Just Like This,” among others.
