Pinoy fans create mural for Kobe daughter in Taguig

As a tribute to his tragic death in a helicopter crash in California, Philippine fans of late NBA star Kobe Bryant have created a special mural at a covered tenement home court in Taguig City.

The artists created the mural to pay homage to Bryant and his daughter Gianna, who was also killed in the incident, according to Bam Alegre’s post on Unang Balita Tuesday. They’ve said painting the mural took them a whole day.

The party also lit candles in solidarity with the people who were mourning for the death of Bryant.

Bryant, 41, and Gianna, 13, as well as seven others, died on Sunday (Monday in the Philippines) in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California.

Bryant, who has played for 20 years in the LA Lakers, was an 18-time All-Star, a five-time NBA champion, and the National Basketball Association’s fourth-leading scorer in history.
