The Philippine government is working to secure the release of an offshore supply vessel seized by Iran on September 7 for suspected oil trafficking by 12 Filipino crew.
The DFA added that Tehran’s embassy carefully monitors Al Buraq’s arrested Filipino crew 1.
It added that Ambassador to Iran Wilfredo C. Santos, accompanied by other officials of the embassy, flew from Tehran to the province of Hormozgan near the Persian Gulf to see the crew personally and determine their condition.
