Philhealth scam whistleblower Edwin Roberto feels discouraged and betrayed in the middle of the bribery allegations he faces for speaking about Philhealth’s supposed compensation to ghost patients through the WellMed Dialysis and Laboratory Center.
At a news conference, Roberto and his attorney Harry Roque lamented the fact that Philhealth administrators are holding back information relating to the filing of criminal complaints, such as the misappropriation of public funds and the dereliction of duty against their officials.

Roque decried the failure of Philhealth officials to provide them with relevant documents in connection with the Philhealth benefits that had been wrongly paid.
After meeting with President Rodrigo Duterte, Roque said he was confident that their case would prosper.
