PDEA seizes P1.1 billion worth of 'crystal meth' inside Ayala Alabang

Anti-drug authorities seized some P1.1 billion worth of suspected crystal meth during a raid inside a village in Muntinlupa City, Tuesday.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) also detained Four Chinese citizens supposed to be members of the Golden Triangle syndicate.

PDEA Director General Aaron Aquino stated his men first conducted a buy-bust operation exterior of a shopping mall on Madrigal Ave., where 3 suspects were caught with more than 40 kilos of alleged crystal meth, locally known as crystal meth.

Operatives raided a house in a follow-up operation, inside Ayala Alabang Village and found more than 100 kilos of drugs hidden inside tea bag boxes and biscuit tins. PDEA also detained another Chinese national.

The PDEA are purporting into whether the suspects are linked with 2 Chinese nationals who were killed in a drug operation in Tanza, Cavite in February.

Around P1.9 billion worth of suspected crystal meth were taken inside the warehouse during the operation.
