Pacquiao seeks out potential opponents one Saturday evening at the AT&T Stadium (formerly Cowboys Stadium) in Arlington, near Dallas in Texas.
Pacquiao will determine whether International Boxing Federation (IBF) welterweight king Errol Spence or challenger Mikey Garcia or somebody else will end up battling in ring with him when the Filipino boxer returns to action.
Pacquiao, with wife Jinkee and key associates of his inner circle in the final leg of their Switzerland-Germany-Austria tour, will reach Dallas on the morning of Saturday.
Sean Gibbons, with him in Salzburg at the moment is setting the stage for his first trip to Dallas in almost 10 years.
In 2010, Pacquiao boxed twice against Ghanaian Joshua Clottey before 50,994 fans and Mexican Antonio Margarito in front of 41,734 spectators in Dallas.
Even if Pacquiao won’t end up getting paired with either Spence or Garcia, another guy is also on his sights: Keith Thurman.
Pacquiao, Spence, Garcia and Thurman are all associated with Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions (PBC), making it easier for a fight involving them to be finalized. While Haymon won’t make himself known, he will be closely overseeing the accounts to see where Pacquiao will fit in slate.
A possible attendance of Floyd Mayweather Jr. to watch the fights at Dallas may be expected as well.
