Police arrested a 23-year-old woman on Wednesday afternoon’s buy-bust operation in Novaliches, Quezon City, for allegedly trafficking shabu and yielding P3.4 million of the banned substance.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) named the suspect as a Pangarap Village resident in Caloocan City, Roselle Bolivar.
Authorities said Bolivar was about to sell illegal drugs to a PDEA agent who posed as a buyer at a mall parking lot in Barangay Pasong Putik during the operation.
Five pieces of transparent plastic packs containing suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P3.4 million were seized during the operation.
Bolivar will be charged with violations of Section 5 of Article II of the Republic Act 9165 or the 2002 Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
