Almost a year after getting his first setback, former WBA welterweight champion Keith “One Time” Thurman continues demand rematch with the legendary Filipino eight-division boxing world champion Manny Pacquiao.
In an interview with Boxingscene, Keith Thurman wants another crack at his former belt. According to him, The WBA championship is his belt and he would love to have another opportunity to take it back from the Filipino boxer.
Even though it’s not mandated for Pacquiao to do a rematch, Thurman said he’ll keep pushing for another fight until he finishes his career out.
Thurman’s loss to Pacquiao has derailed his plans for a unification bout with WBC and IBF Welterweight king Errol Spence Jr.
The former undefeated champion said that a fight with Errol Spence, Jr will be three world titles one way or another.
Apart from just getting a rematch with the Filipino icon, Thurman also admitted that his 12-round classic with Pacquiao is one of his most memorable matches and will be thrilled to have an opportunity to do it again.
