Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) publicized that Japan has opened the job opportunities for 50 nurses (kangoshi) and 300 careworkers (kaigofukushishi).
Applicants may apply for the positions listed below through the Japan International Corporation of Welfare Services (JICWELS). The deadline for submission of application is on April 30 this year.
For nurses, the experiences and qualifications should be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing with active PRC License, a minimum of three (3) years hospital work experience and additionally, must be driven and devoted to work and study as candidate for “Kangoshi” to obtain a National License in Japan.
The qualifications for care workers are as follows: Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (with or without PRC License), graduate of four (4) year course BUT should submit TESDA National Certificate II in Caregiving (NC II); and finally, candidate nurses should first complete a six-month onsite Japanese language training and undergo on-the-job training.
To be able to work as registered nurses, applicants are required to be able to have passing remarks of the licensure examination in Japan which they could only take up a maximum of three takes.
Hopeful candidate care workers must complete a six-month onsite language training and work as an intern for at least three years before they can take the national examination for care workers.
