On Friday, Senator Manny Pacquiao visits the towns impacted by the earthquake in North Cotabato.
Pacquiao gave the families in the numerous evacuation centers relief goods and sanitation facilities.
Last month, at least three major earthquakes hit the southern Philippines. A magnitude 6.3 earthquake hit parts of the region of Mindanao on October 16.
On October 29, Tulunan, North Cotabato, was again struck by a magnitude 6.6 earthquake that was initially tectonic.
Two days later, several areas in the country were again struck by a magnitude 6.5 earthquake, resulting in a hotel collapse in Kidapawan City and a portion of a condominium in Davao City.
The number of people who died after the three strong tremors, according to the NDRRMC, exceeded 28 while more than 400 people were injured.
The council also said that a total of 46,250 families or 231,250 people from 251 barangays in Regions XI and XII were affected by the powerful earthquakes.
