Coco Martin speaks out against NTC, Calida over ABS-CBN shutdown

ABS - CBN shutdown

METRO MANILA – ABS-CBN actor Coco Martin and star of the popular primetime show Ang Probinsyano lashes out at the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) and Solicitor General Jose Calida hours after the network has been issued the cease and desist order.

The 38-year-old actor couldn’t contain his anger and took it to Instagram where he vented his frustration regarding the current issue of the network

(What kind of people would do this? You know ABS-CBN’s closure means the unemployment of several thousand employees and their families. Thousands of families will go hungry, and everything that’s going on in the world today. Did you really prioritize the closure of a station that supports the lives of so many Filipinos?)

He ended his post by sarcastically calling out Calida and NTC for their contribution to the country in closing down the network.
