Gelogo also accused Osmeña’s camp of stealing his watch worth P150,000 which was kept inside the motorcycle toolbox.
Osmeña confessed that he opposed Gelogo outside the CCPO at 1:30 a.m. Sunday. This, because he saw him going outside the CCPO driving his motorcycle just wearing slippers and shorts.
As a result, Osmeña called the City Traffic Operations Management to impound Gelogo’s motorcyle because it did not a have registration sticker and side mirrors.
“Well, I can apply the argument that it’s a citizen’s arrest. I also want to make it clear that they’re challenging my authority because the mayor has operational supervision and control of the police department. That’s the law,” Osmeña stated.
Osmeña went to the CCPO allegedly to see the two Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) councilors who were arrested by policemen for supposed vote-buying on Sunday.
