The second PUI death confirmed yesterday was a case of pneumonia in a patient with underlying pulmonary disease, ‘DOH spokesman Undersecretary Eric Domingo told a press conference in Manila.

No other details were disclosed.

The first case of PUI death was an immunocompromised 29-year-old Chinese national who succumbed to pneumonia and was later tested negative for a novel coronavirus.

The DOH recorded a total of 215 PUI including three confirmed cases, 57 of which tested negative for nCoV, and 155 others still awaiting laboratory results.
