Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) cited on Saturday there are detected easterlies will mark portions of Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao while the northeast monsoon or “amihan” will carry cloudy skies over Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands.
Pagasa cautioned residents to brace for possible flash floods and severe thunderstorms.
Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands up North will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rain due to the northeast monsoon.
In the meantime, the Bicol region, Eastern Visayas and Mindanao will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain or thunderstorms caused by easterlies. Metro Manila and rest of the republic may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies the following days.
