Nineteen Filipinos were wounded in a road accident involving a public transport vehicle in Via Cassia, north of Rome last week, the Department of Foreign Affairs.
The Philippine Embassy, according to the DFA, was able to identify and obtain contact details for the Filipinos following the accident last Wednesday, Oct. 16.
No one was in a critical condition, said the DFA.
The Filipinos, moaning of muscle pain, seek immediate medical attention.
Four of them sustained injuries to their foreheads, and two fractured their shoulders and legs.
Filipino officials in Rome said they would be able to provide additional assistance to the Filipinos if necessary.
